Junwen Wu

Born on December 4, 1997, in Shanghai, China, Junwen has had a lifelong passion for music, beginning piano studies at the age of three. In 2021, she graduated from Shanghai University of Science and Technology with a bachelor degree in Exhibition Economics and Management. Same year, she was admitted to the Eastman School of Music in the United States to study Film Scoring and Contemporary Media. Upon completion of her studies in May 2024, she decided to pursue opportunities in Los Angeles, USA. Junwen has released over forty compositions spanning various genres, including classical, pop, ethnic music, etc. Junwen's synesthetic abilities augment her capacity for music composition tailored to film, aligning seamlessly with visual media. She exhibits a particular affinity for narrative and documentary film scoring.
